Very interested in reading barefoot experiences (yours and others')and wondering if we ought to go that way for the "working"(haha) horse - the (semi)retired one has stronger hooves and is fine barefoot. Great you have an arena there and some nice riding company :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7359337712503283199.post-63525796950041161182013-01-28T16:55:48.214+01:002013-01-28T16:55:48.214+01:00I just posted a photo of Flurry on Twitter, #wascl...I just posted a photo of Flurry on Twitter, #wascleanyesterday, don't know if that's enough to find it, I'm MaGreenlee if you want to see a truly filthy horseMartinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14496995504975297110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7359337712503283199.post-86532404115653175662013-01-28T15:09:06.560+01:002013-01-28T15:09:06.560+01:00I can't wait to meet those guys, even if they ...I can't wait to meet those guys, even if they are covered in mud! :)Sara Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06058056977783867772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7359337712503283199.post-17659843345454560292013-01-28T12:51:16.989+01:002013-01-28T12:51:16.989+01:00Good for you for getting out there. Our flat "area" is covered in snow and partially plowed by the guys working on the barn--not great footing. Not that I'm in any position to get back on a horse just yet--got to find out how long this dang sternum will take to heal before I'm back in the saddle! lmelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17517919157975053481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7359337712503283199.post-14184688494572262682013-01-28T12:06:56.247+01:002013-01-28T12:06:56.247+01:00The farrier is coming on Friday to give them a tri...The farrier is coming on Friday to give them a trim, I will be interested to hear what he has to say. Aero's heels & frogs just don't seem to be bulking up, and Flurry has gone backwards with the wet ground and the lack of exercise (I know, I know, exercise is key....)Martinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14496995504975297110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7359337712503283199.post-54729039665080884392013-01-28T10:58:50.375+01:002013-01-28T10:58:50.375+01:00I waq wondering how the whole barefoot thing was g...I waq wondering how the whole barefoot thing was going. Gigi is OK but Phoebe has a problem with her frogs, it is very wet here but their field isn't too bad. Same as you finding it hard to get motivated in the really bad weather, even though I have the indoor, it's always in demand.Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11311927852717548334noreply@blogger.com
